Nobody wants to come home from their holiday to bad news, but Tulisa Contostavlos is facing just that after her boyfriend Danny Simpson was caught up in a brawl in Manchester in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The pair has been dating since November, but The X Factor judge jetted off to Marbella with her friends last month - and left Danny to his own devices.
However, the Newcastle ace's night out over the weekend ended in disaster - and a trip to the hospital.
Tulisa with Danny
Danny got caught up in an argument with a fellow customer in a Manchester takeaway, and The Sun claims the footballer hit the man.
It is alleged that when the star climbed into a taxi he was dragged out by a different man and punched - resulting in him lying bleeding and unconscious in the street.
An onlooker told the tabloid: "He was in a bad way. It looked like he'd been knocked out. Everyone crowded round him. He was still breathing but not responsive.
"We didn't know how badly injured he was at this point so didn't want to risk it."
Tulisa came back from Marbella to bad news
An ambulance took Danny to hospital and he is returning to training this week.
His spokesman adds: "Danny's fine and will be back training tomorrow."
However, the pop star was still worried about her man, with a source adding: "Tulisa was shocked and upset when she heard what happened. She was worried that Danny might have been badly hurt but she's been reassured he'll be fine."
