AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri was delighted with his team's patient approach after they defeated Barcelona 2-0 in the clubs' Champions League round-of-16 first leg.
Former Portsmouth players Kevin-Prince Boateng and Sulley Muntari scored to give the Rossoneri the advantage ahead of the return leg at the Camp Nou in three weeks, the perfect fillip ahead of Sunday's Milan derby.
Boateng and Muntari were the heroes of the night
And Allegri stressed the importance of concentrating on domestic matters.
"We haven't done anything yet," he said on www.acmilan.com after the game at the San Siro. "We have to leave it there now as we have the derby and we have to recharge our batteries immediately.
"I'm very happy with what the players have done and we should enjoy this evening and start focusing on the derby tomorrow."
