The next Assassin's Creed has been revealed.
'Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag' will be set on the high seas of the mid-eighteenth century, and have a plot revolving around piracy, the new world and the English crown.
Details are few at this stage, but among the early details are the game's cover art, which is below.
Eurogamer said that the game will star a pirate assassin named Edward Kenway, father of Haytham and grandfather of Connor from the recent Assassin's Creed 3.
It will be released on the PC, PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U, as well as (probably) the next-gen PS and Xbox consoles. There will be an hour of exclusive gameplay on the PS3 version.
More details will be unveiled by Ubisoft on Monday at 5pm UK time.
