Two young brothers with a rare skin condition have died within days of each other, their family has said.
Harry Churchill, aged three, died last Wednesday and 21-month-old Cody died on Friday evening.
The brothers, from Poole in Dorset, both had epidermolysis bullosa (EB), which caused their skin to blister.
Younger patients are sometimes called "butterfly children" because their skin is fragile like a butterfly's wings.
Harry died at Julia's House hospice in Corfe Mullen and Cody passed away on Friday in hospital in Poole.
In a Facebook post, parents Chris and Steph Churchill said: "As we all know Harry and Cody had a bond like no other but I don't think anyone really understood the bond they had.
"On 13 March after a long and hard fight Harry passed away peacefully at his favourite place, Julia's House.
"As hard as it was we then had to go back to hospital as Cody fell ill. On 15 March Cody flew to heaven to be with his big brother.
"Losing two children in two days is anyone's worse nightmare. The only comfort we have is knowing they are reunited as one.
"Cody couldn't live without Harry their bond was far too strong. Love u always boys. Mummy and Daddy x."
The skin condition affects about 5,000 people in the UK.
It causes the skin to become very fragile and any trauma or friction can result in painful blisters.
The family is now fundraising to help with the costs of the funeral, including flowers and a headstone.
