Clint Eastwood once said that there were only two true American art forms: jazz and the Western.
And in keeping with that (well, the former, at least), we think it's only in New York that this situation could have taken place. The situation being: two people riding on a subway indulging in a 'sax battle'. For New York isn't just the birthplace of bebop but also the home of The Kids From Fame, of course, who famously sang 'I Can Do Anything (Better Than You Can)'.
But we digress. Back to the subway - where Sapphire Adizes clocked a fellow sax player entertaining passengers further down the carriage. So what did he do? He promptly got his own saxophone out of its case, of course, and began a battle-slash-duet.
