A man has been charged with the murders of his partner and young son.
Paul Chadwick, 34, is accused of killing Lisa Clay, 40, and six-year-old Joseph, who were found dead at their bungalow in Bolton-le-Sands, Lancashire, on April 9.
A Home Office post-mortem examination found they both died as a result of multiple stab wounds.
A spokeswoman for Lancashire Police said: "Today, the Crown Prosecution Service have authorised Lancashire Constabulary to charge a 34-year-old man with two counts of murder.

"Paul Chadwick, of Lowlands Road in Bolton-le-Sands, is charged with murdering 40-year-old Lisa Clay and six-year-old Joseph Chadwick."
Chadwick has been remanded in custody to appear at Preston Magistrates' Court today.
