Anne Hathaway proved she was not scared to do drastic things to her hair when she shaved it all off for her role in 'Les Misérables'.
And as the star rolled up at the Met Ball in New York on Monday night, she went for another shock look, having dyed her 'do blonde.
Anne is famed for her dark glossy locks but opted for a new peroxide style as she attended the 'PUNK: Chaos To Couture' themed bash at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, to celebrate the opening of their yearly fashion exhibit.
She teamed her new 'do with a Valentino LBD with sheer panels.
She has been growing her hair long again after choosing to shave it for real when her 'Les Misérables' character Fantine sold her hair to pay for the care of her young daughter in the 2012 film.
However, it looks like she won't be keeping her blonde look for long, as she told our US cousins on the red carpet: "It's temporary. But as soon as I did it, I thought I didn't want it to be temporary any longer. I know I have to dye it back for my work."
Shame. We have to say blonde rather suits Miss Hathaway.
