The British and Irish Lions prepared for their second Test against Australia with a comfortable 35-0 victory over Melbourne Rebels.

Conor Murray, Sean Maitland, Sean O'Brien and Ben Youngs' touch downs were complemented by a penalty try for a routine victory.

Manu Tuilagi stood out for the Lions, especially in the first half, as he staked his claim to start against the Wallabies on Saturday.

Fly-half Owen Farrell kicked three conversions and Stuart Hogg landed two as they kept an outgunned Rebels side scoreless.

Coach Warren Gatland will announce his XV for the second Test on Thursday.
