Fashion news! Remember when Stefano Pilati announced he was parting ways with Yves Saint Laurent? Seven months later, his new job has been confirmed.
According to WWD, Pilati will take on the roles as creative director of Agnona womenswear and head of design at menswear label Ermenegildo Zegna, from 1 January 2013.
CEO of the Italian brand, Gildo Zegna, explained why they hired Pilati to WWD. He said, "We are appreciated for our quality, fabrics and style. We wanted to add a twist of fashion and this was the right moment. This will also help us to work with less mature clients, and catch opportunities in emerging markets where there are younger and wealthier customers".
