This is probably our favourite "Mariah Carey for American Idol"-related tweet of the day and it comes from an unlikely source - Leonard Nimoy.
The actor best known for his portrayal of Mr Spock in the original Star Trek series tweeted his disappointment at Mariah's good news:
Mariah Carey got the "American Idol" job replacing Jennifer Lopez. I was hoping to get the call. I would have been less expensive. LLAP
