Spritz! Oud By Organic Pharmacy

Finding an evening scent that works for summer can be quite difficult. On one hand, you want a sexy fragrance with a bit of musk. On the other, you can't go Pimms-ing wearing anything too heavy - it's the social equivalent of an oxymoron.

So what do you do? Well, here's what you absolutely don't do.

A) Don't douse yourself even more liberally in your regular daytime perfume - it will result in you losing friends/dates/invitations to work social occasions.

B) Invest in a heavy floral scent. Argh, the horror of weighty florals! Oppressive, not good with heat and lasting, so lasting. Also, suggests the wearer is attention-seeking and, even worse, clingy (much like the perfume).

C) Abandon fragrance completely. Seriously, don't be such a drip.

The thing is, none of the above is necessary thanks to the glorious existence of Oud by Organic Pharmacy. It's the most summer-nights-appropriate scent in the world. Musky but light, sandalwood-y with hints of rose.

Dashes to the wrist and neck will see you through an entire evening and intoxicate everyone around you in a mysterious - not suffocating argh, help! - way. While everyone else has overdosed on some fruity/flowery nightmare, you'll cut through the crowd - a girl who smells sophisticated and is probably wearing impeccable black eyeliner. Plus, check out that bottle. Bloody gorgeous.

Oud by Organic Pharmacy is £119.95.
