An elderly woman had to be rescued by firefighters after she became trapped in her deckchair as she sunbathed.
The pensioner was sitting in the chair in her garden in Polruan, Cornwall, when the seat fell through - leaving her stuck in the frame.
She was left unable to move and is believed to have spent hours in the chair on Monday, one of the hottest days of the year.
A neighbour discovered the woman, in her 80s, in the evening when she came to water her plants and raised the alarm.
Crews from Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service arrived at the scene at around 10pm and quickly freed the woman.
She was then taken to hospital for treatment.
A spokeswoman for Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews from Polruan rescued a person who was trapped in a deckchair.
"The casualty was found by a neighbour and is now in the care of the ambulance service."
