It is once again the holiest of holy times. I am of course referring to red carpet season. First on our saintly calendar was the Golden Globes and you can be sure that I scrutinized every single one of the winners and losers... of the red carpet, natch. Hardly talking about Daniel Day Lewis, ew!
Michelle Dockery begged me to be her plus one, but I am still on the HCG diet and flying is NOT recommended. MiMi went for my recommendation of Downton meets old Hollywood glam, and didn't she look divine. How and ever, I must condemn the lack of frock shock and surprise.
All black, old Hollywood glam, highschool prom; we've seen it ALL before. At least we'll always have Helena Bonham Carter, but I want to see more game changers. So yes, Amy Adams and Megan Fox looked fabulous in fishtail blah, blah, blah but I am here in celebration of those who laughed in the face of style danger and pray at the alter of red carpet alternative.
