Nani bagged a brace on his return for Manchester United amid reports he has been offered to Ligue 1 side Monaco.
The Portugal international, who has been suffering with a broken nose, slotted in a first-half free-kick and then tucked away a second goal after the break in a 2-0 win at Crewe.
However, with his contract set to expire in under a year, Nani's six-year stay at Old Trafford could end before the transfer window shuts.
Monaco's billionaire owner Vadim Vasilyev admitted United have offered Nani to them.
He said: “He has been proposed to us. He is a very good player, but there have been no talks so far.”
United captain Nemanja Vidić played for an hour as a second-string side, managed by former midfielder Nicky Butt, won 2-0 at Gresty Road.
The Serbian defender missed United's tour of Australia and the Far East with a back complaint but came through 62 minutes untroubled.
Antonio Valencia who also missed the trip, played hours after friend and former Birmingham striker Christian Benítez died.
