Boy Airlifted To Hospital In Birmingham After Crash

An 11-year-old boy was airlifted to Birmingham Children's Hospital today with serious injuries after a light aircraft crash in Canons Ashby, Northamptonshire Police said.

Northamptonshire Police said the youngster was a passenger in the plane which came down near Canons Ashby House, near Northampton, at 11.45am.

He has been airlifted to Birmingham Children's Hospital while the pilot is being treated at the scene.
