WikiLeaks' founder Julian Assange has appeared in a spoof election campaign for the Australian senate, weeks before the country goes to the polls.

Appearing in a video made by Juice Rap News, an online satirical broadcast show, the 41-year-old lip synch's to a re-written version of rock legend John Farnham's 'You're The Voice', in which he says "we gotta make things leak, so we can get much bolder, we're all wire-tapped now, we're all being fed lies".

The piece was filmed at the Ecuadorean embassy, where Assange has been holed up for more than a year.
