Mysterious Letterbox Mystifies Uri Geller Who Say It's The Work Of A 'Ghost Girl'

How Did This Letterbox Get Here?

Presumably bored of twisting spoons, eccentric mind-bender, Uri Geller, is now twisting his knickers - over a post box.

Residents of Sonning-on-Thames have been thrown into a conspiracy theory stupor by the traditional red letter depository which has suddenly appeared on the side of a bridge.

Geller has lived in the village for 33 years but has a perfectly plausible explanation.

"Maybe it was the ghost of a mischievous little girl?" he mused to the BBC.

Hmm.

Whoever it was, it wasn't the Royal Mail. A spokesman said the unusual - and completely useless - postbox is "a mystery to us".

Who wouldn't believe this man?
