'Strictly Come Dancing' Star Ashley Taylor Dawson Gets Lessons On Being 'Sexy'

'Teach Me How To Be Sexy'

'Hollyoaks' star Ashley Taylor Dawson has been getting lessons on how to be "sexy" from his 'Strictly Come Dancing' partner ahead of their live debut on Saturday.

The soap actor had to be shown how to look more racy after he failed to impress Ola Jordan as they practised in a rehearsal studio in the build-up to the BBC1 series beginning.

He has also been pre-occupied with an imminent new arrival in the family as he jokingly urged his girlfriend Karen McKay not to give birth ahead of his live debut.

The due date for their second child was today and in a message on Twitter he said: "Please don't go into labour .... YET."

Dawson has already told how he will have divided loyalties if the baby's arrival coincides with the launch of the live programmes and is dreading the prospect of being away from home if it happens.

The 15 celebrities and their professional partners will be taking a spin on the dancefloor in a bid to impress viewers and the hard-to-please judges - Craig Revel Horwood, Darcey Bussell, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli - on Friday and Saturday night.

But in a new video taken during their training session, Jordan scolds her new pupil for failing to look seductive enough as he writhes on his knees, telling him: "This doesn't look sexy."

After asking to be shown how, she shimmies her body suggestively.

The pair will be dancing a cha-cha to the One Direction hit 'What Makes You Beautiful' as they take on five other couples tomorrow, including favourite Natalie Gumede and her partner Artem Chigvintsev.

Viewers were introduced to the competitors three weeks ago and they have been practising ever since, fitting their rehearsals around their day jobs and their screen commitments.

Other stars taking part in the series - and due to strut their stuff on Saturday - include Countdown's Rachel Riley, fashion designer Julien Macdonald and model Abbey Clancy.
