To the average person, a fan may be a sometimes necessary, but unexceptional device.
But one little owl was left wide-eyed in awe after finding a cool spot next to the technological marvel.
The adorable owl, called Mr Bean, was spotted chilling out as staff at the Blanford Nature Center (BNC) in Grand Rapids, Michigan, cleaned out his cage.
Mr Bean, the owl
Mr Bean was taken to the centre in 2009 after flying into the window of a nearby school, resulting in permanent soft tissue damage to his left wing.
"Mr Bean can hardly fly, making it impossible for him to hunt for food and escape predators in the wild," explains the official BNC website.
