Comet Ison - predicted to be the 'Comet of the Century' - is currently hurtling towards the Sun, ready for a spectacular light show at the end of the month.
It's already increased several times in brightness, and is now visible to the naked eye.
Now British astrophotographer Damian Peach may have taken the iconic picture of the comet so far.
