This is the dramatic moment when a crane collapsed onto a World Cup stadium in Brazil, a tragedy that left two dead and others injured.
The accident was captured on film by an architect on a technical visit at the stadium to see this section of the stadium roof, weighing 420 tonnes, put into place. Because it was the final part of the roof to be constructed, there were a higher number of senior engineers on site than usual.

Meanwhile, mayor Mayor Eduardo Paes of Rio de Janeiro, the city hosting the next Olympic Games, apologised for the tragedy, saying: "We are all very sorry, especially for the two lives that were lost."
