Anderlecht ended their Champions League campaign as Group C's whipping boys, as they had three players sent off and conceded three penalties at Olympiakos.

The Belgians, who took one point from 18, had Cheikhou Kouyate, Fabrice N'Sakala and goalkeeper Silvio Proto red-carded in Athens.

Proto's red card seemed particularly cruel given his brilliance in the match, saving two penalties and making plenty more stops. The irony was his dismissal caused the penalty which was scored.

Javier Saviola scored twice and missed a spotkick as the Greek side beat eight-man Anderlecht 3-1, with Vladimir Weiss also failing with a penalty before Alejandro Dominguez made it third time lucky from 12 yards in the last minute.
