Nelson Mandela's body is being taken on a final journey to the Eastern Cape ahead of his funeral on Sunday.

Members of the African National Congress held a service for him earlier in the day, paying tribute to their former president.

Mandela's coffin will travel to his ancestral home of Qunu where other members of his family are buried.
