Samsung Unveils Galaxy NotePro And Tab Pro Tablets

Samsung has unveiled its brand new range of 'professional' tablets at the CES 2014 tech show in Las Vegas.

The 12.2-inch NotePro will include a new four-window multitasking mode a 'Magazine UI' homepage layout (similar in some ways to Windows 8) and come with the same faux-leather styling as the well-received Note 3 smartphone.

The Galaxy Tab Pro will come in three sizes - 8.4-inch, 10.1-inch, and 12.2-inch - and lack the 'S Pen' stylus, which is key to the Note range. But Samsung said it is comparable in specs to the NotePro in other areas.

All of the new tablets feature up to 64GB of storage, and come with top-class processors designed to make mutlitasking and gaming as smooth as possible.

They all feature HD 2560 x 1600 pixels screens, run Android 4.4 KitKat, come in Wi-Fi and LTE variants and have 8-megapixel rear cameras.

It will also sell a range of Bluetooth accessories - including a mouse - but will not release its own keyboard dock, odd considering how closely it matches up with Microsoft's own Surface tablets.
