This Time-Lapse Video Of How Beer is Made Is Both Glorious And Unsettling

Just as chickens don't come from plastic wrapping, beer doesn't come from a tap. Well, it does, but that's not how it's made.

In this time-lapse video made by Sierra Nevada, they show us a snapshot of the fermentation process that goes into making beer.

All that frothing and churning you see is actually a series of very complex biochemical reactions as the sugar converts to alcohol.

At one point, the mixture looks like it has gone sentient - hard to believe that the calm, golden brew left behind is what we enjoy at the end of a long day.
