Facebook might be celebrating its 10th birthday - but if a recently uncovered newspaper is to be believed, it might be a lot older than that.
An article from a 1902 edition of the Western Times suggests today might actually be Facebook's 112th birthday - at least in spirit.
The fragment, republished by the British Newspaper Archive, references a 'Face-book' in which "everyone who comes to stay has to draw a face in… however badly, and sign his name underneath".

It doesn't sound massively unlike the social network we know today - though there are probably a few less 'OMG Amazing' videos and a few more moustaches.
