Reindeer In Finland Sport Glittery Antlers To Curb Collisions (PICTURE)

It turns out that as well as being generally fabulous and sparkly, glitter might also have lifesaving qualities.

The stuff is being daubed on the antlers of reindeer in Finland, in an attempt to make them more visible to drivers and thus curb the number of deaths, AP reports.

It’s still in the experimental stage, with 20 reindeer currently sporting twinkly horns while researchers monitor how they react and whether the substance can stay put throughout the Arctic winter.
