Not only did Ellen Degeneres's Oscar selfie become the most retweeted ever but it's now had the honour of being turned into a Simpsons parody thanks to the show's creator Matt Groening.
Matt tweeted his take on the photo - which featured Meryl Streep, Jennifer Lawrence, Jared Leto, Lupita Nyong'o, Bradley Cooper, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, and Kevin Spacey - on Homer Simpson's official Twitter feed.

The new image sees the stars of the original selfie getting a Simpsons make-over with the addition of Homer and Bart Simpson in the frame.
He captioned it: "The ugly true story of that Oscar selfie".
The original photo has now notched up over three million retweets and more than 1.7 million favourites on the social network.
