Kylie Minogue has discussed her recent split from her ex-boyfriend Andres Velencoso in a new interview with Good Housekeeping.
The singer dated the Spanish model for five years before they ultimately split up in 2013, though she admits they are still in contact.
Kylie Minogue for Good Housekeeping
Kylie told Good Housekeeping: "It was definitely sad for a while, because you’re no longer hanging out with your buddy, your best mate. But I think being so busy has been a blessing, and we’re still in touch. Genuinely, it was a healthy separation."
She also admitted that she was relieved no cheating allegations surfaced following their split, admitting: "I was relieved there weren't any stories about him doing this or that, as it’s just not him. He’s a really, really good guy."
Meanwhile, anyone hoping the 'Sexercize' singer might be cropping up on their Tinder profile in the new future will be disappointed to hear that Kylie has no intention of trying her hand at Internet dating.
When asked whether she'd try online dating, she told the magazine: "Internet dating is fantastic and great in general, but I don’t think it’s for me. I certainly couldn't lie about my age! That’s the classic, isn’t it? Putting up a picture of yourself from 10 years ago…”
Kylie, if that's genuinely your only concern, we really don't think you have anything to worry about...
Kylie is currently a mentor on 'The Voice'. Catch her in the live final which airs Saturday, 5 April at 7pm on BBC One.
Full interview appears in the May issue of Good Housekeeping, on sale Wednesday 9 April. Also available as a digital edition.
