Teenage Girl Straddles Dead Shark On Marcoola Beach, Australia (PICTURES)

A teenage girl has been snapped straddling a dead shark on a beach in Australia.

The three-metre long animal, which washed up on the shores of Marcoola Beach earlier this week, had attracted plenty of interest from local residents, however while some kept their distance, one daring adventurer decided to jump on board... while her dog watched on bemused.

The picture quickly went viral, prompting shark experts to warn against approaching washed up creatures, as they may very well still be alive.
