Kasabian have been announced as one of the headlining acts at Glastonbury 2014, when they take to the Pyramid stage on Sunday, 29 June.
Although the headliners for the Saturday night have yet to be announced, a whopping 87 acts have now been officially added to the festival’s line up, including M.I.A., Elbow and Pixies.

Kasabian, live in concert
This will be the first time that Kasabian have received top billing at the festival, with Arcade Fire already confirmed to be headlining on the Friday night.
Festival organiser Emily Eavis said: “We always take great pride in putting a great British band on to headline the Pyramid and this time it’s Kasabian, who are one of the most requested bands from Glastonbury-goers and an amazing live act. It’s going to be one hell of a show!”
Acts who were already confirmed to be playing the festival include Lily Allen, Lana Del Rey and Disclosure, with ‘Luther’ actor Idris Elba announcing earlier this week that he would be performing a DJ set at the summer festival.
Emily added: “One of the great things for us about this year’s line up is that there are so many artists who have never played Glastonbury before, along with some of the most exciting new bands stepping up to play some of the big headline slots on main stages, like Skrillex and Disclosure.”
