"It's not a very secure industry to be in at this moment in time," West Ham manager Sam Allardyce said of football management on Sunday. Allardyce could, feasibly, become the 13th manager to lose his job at a Premier League club this season after Tim Sherwood was sacked by Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday.
Starting from Paolo di Canio's departure on 22 September, this was one of the most prolific seasons when it came to sackings. All three relegated sides went down having changed their manager, while three other clubs have sacked two managers each.
