‘Big Brother’ will reopen its doors to a brand new batch of housemates next month, kicking off with a launch spread over two nights.
The 14th series of the reality series starts on Thursday 5 June with a special premiere hosted by Emma Willis, followed the a second launch event the following evening.
This set-up echoes last year's format which saw the 14 housemates enter the ‘BB’ compound over the course of two nights. we are expecting the same to happen this time around.
Channel 5 have already confirmed that this year’s series will have a ‘Power Trip’ theme - following on from last year’s ‘Secrets and Lies’ - which will see the contestants battling it out for positions of power and control.
Bosses have also promised a shocking twist, which will be revealed by presenter Emma Willis on the first launch night.
Another change to this year’s series is that Luisa Zissman - who got us all talking with her antics in the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ back in January - will be joining the presenting team as a permanent panelist on ‘Big Brother’s Bit On The Side’.
Last year’s series was won by Sam Evans, a Wales-born stock assistant in a department store who was born with 70-80% hearing loss.
After winning the series he told Metro that he’d be donating a quarter of his £100,000 prize fund to charity and returning to his day job, though he has since done a naked photo-shoot with Gay Times magazine.
Since then two celebrity editions of the show have taken place, won by 'Geordie Shore' star Charlotte Crosby and comedian Jim Davidson.
