A dead Puerto Rican woman was guest of honour at her own wake after she was propped up in her favourite rocking chair and duly placed centre of the festivities.
Eighty-year-old Georgina Chervony Lloren was dressed in her wedding gown from her second marriage and surrounded by plants and flowers.
Her daughter, Miriam, said this is how her mother had imagined her wake to be.

The wake was held at the Marin Funeral Home which is no stranger to such odd services.
