Louis van Gaal showed as far back as the 1995 Champions League final he is nothing but entertaining on the touchline and, for the first time as Manchester United manager, he visibly lost it on Tuesday night.
Van Gaal was furious with the American referee during goalless draw with Internazionale after he failed to award Tom Cleverley a penalty and then harshly penalised the midfielder for conceding a foul in the centre circle.
The Dutchman heatedly remonstrated with the fourth official before returning to his seat.
Cleverley was one of five scorers in an immaculate 5-3 penalty shootout win for United against the Italian side.
