United's #MUFCkitday Features The Weird And The Wonderful

Manchester United's #MUFCkitday hashtag, like Manchester City's #AskJesus Q&A, was asking for it.

A slew of pictures have been posted from Salford to Saipan on Twitter after United urged fans to "show your colours by donning red in support of #MUFCkitday."

"Wherever you are, whatever you’re doing, we’d love you to wear a home shirt as you go about your daily duties. We realise it’s not possible for everybody to wear a football kit to work or when you're out and about. But that doesn't mean you can't still get creative and get involved," United added.

The club boasted in 2012 they have 659 million fans worldwide. It seems as though some "fans" are wearing replicas from 20 years ago but barely look 20, as if they have bought them off eBay to give the impression they are lifelong United supporters. We're sceptical.
