Does the smoke alarm cheer you on in the kitchen?
Is your idea of mixing it up in your household using a different cheese on your famous cheese on burnt toast?
Well, we might just have the competition for you!
Kenwood - the company behind those brilliant mixers - has launched its search for the nation's worst cook. And if you can prove you want to learn your puddings from your purees, you could be in with a bumper crop of prizes.
To enter, your need to prove in 250 words why your cooking needs a helping hand (or five). The 15 entries who need the most help will then be given training to bring out their inner Nigellas, before the top six contestants are whittled down to one winner at the Disaster Chef Grand Final.
The winner will walk away with a kitchen makeover worth £3,000, a £500 cookery course and a selection of Kenwood products for their efforts.
The judging panel includes Atomic Kitten singer and celebrity Masterchef winner Liz McCLarnon.
The competition is now open, and flailing cooks have until 13th June to enter online at Kenwoodworld.com/uk.
Good luck!
