Gwyneth Paltrow has embraced four of the most iconic beauty looks from previous decades for Maxfactor's latest advert. What better way to celebrate 100 years of glamour?
Pat McGrath, the brand's global creative design director, transformed Paltrow by recreating Audrey Hepburn's 1950s signature style along with looks from the 1960s, 70s and 80s inspired by Brigitte Bardot, Farrah Fawcett and Madonna.
Following the sneak preview of Gwyneth's Fawcett-inspired ad in November 2014, Maxfactor has revealed the other three images as part of its Summer 2014 campaign.
Here's Gwyneth having a Breakfast at Tiffany's moment...
And doing a Bardot...
The 70s-inspired Farrah (clearly Gwyneth was born to dress up as this star...)
And then there's Gwyneth doing a Madonna...
As to be expected, Gwyneth pulls of each and every look beautifully, but which style do you prefer? Maxfactor's makeup artist Caroline Barnes has got a clear favourite.
"For me, Farrah Fawcett from the Seventies appeals to me most. It was a decade of change in make-up; the birth of the beautiful sun-kissed tanned skin," she says.
"I adore the soft colourful metallic hues that were used in abundance on lips, eyes and cheeks. Foundation was light and it really felt that radiance and energy was pumped into hair and makeup, giving the 70s that feel of a new relaxed femininity and experimentation."
