You've got to hand it to the royal - 2013 hasn't exactly been the easiest year in the beauty stakes. She had close-ups of her grey hair splashed all over the tabloids and reportedly sacked her hairdresser - a traumatising event for any girl known for having a mighty mane.

But the British public haven't cared a jot - in the poll of 2000 women conducted by Superdrug, Duchess Kate voted to be the most beautiful of all.
