Just when the January blues kick in, the Spring/Summer 2014 makeup collections are unveiled.
Okay, a new lipstick isn't going to get you completely out of the back-to-work slump but these products will make you dream of warmer weather, brighter colours and floral prints.
After one look at the new offerings from YSL Beaute and Lancome - the makeup colour of the season will also become clear. Love pink? You're in luck. And you don't have to wait until March to wear it either.
YSL's range has just hit stores. The star of the collection is the Rosy Blush Palette (£42) but there are also four new tinted lip balms and four further glosses in a mix of fuchsia and rose shades. That Rouge Pablo nail polish is pretty striking too.
If you're looking for something softer? Try Lancome's French Ballerine collection. The Doll Eyes Hypnose Palette (£37) is one of the prettiest out there for spring, the Ultra Dazzling Eye Colours (£21) are perfect for subtle shimmer and that Barbie pink nail polish (£12.50)? It's the ultimate anti-January colour.
YSL's S/S 14 collection is available now. Lancome's French Ballerine range launches on 8 January.
