The campaign shows the singer mostly glaring moodily into the distance on a gloomy beach. With her hair mussed-up in a wet-look style, Miley sports super smokey eyes framed with occasional specs.
Layered up in printed jackets with strong shoulders, Elizabethan-style ball gowns and floor-sweeping sequin floral skirts, Miley poses alongside two other models also sporting the SS14 collection while looking equally despairing. We're getting a Twelfth Night vibe.
Of the shoot's moody feel, which was captured by fashion photog David Sims, Marc Jacobs commented: "We wanted this beach with the girls kind of sulky and broody, and we thought it would be cool if it was Miley with what could be two friends, feeling distant and quite dark."
The fashion mogul, who famously dressed Miley in a provocative fishnet dress for last year's Met Ball said of his new muse: "We all just love [Miley] and her entire being, her talent, her intelligence, everything. There's nothing I don't like about her. She is just genuine and very natural."
