New York Fashion Week is well underway and the Autumn/Winter 2014 catwalks are already looking fabulous - our livestream showed us so.
Designer duo Max Azria and his wife Lubov Azria of BCBGMAXAZRIA sent a fleet of models down the runway decked out in stunning outerwear on the opening day. There were fur-trimmed coats with leather panels, all-elegant wool-blend capes, matching print two-pieces and dresses and skirts were heavy on the asymmetric front.
The boxy, multi-textured coat below? Owned, owned, OWNED the show.
Style notes to get down? Invest in a staple pair of patent boots, fur muffs will be the ultimate winter hand-held, evening wear is plunging and leather or floor-length in that sweeping-striking silhouetted kind of way.
BCBGMAXAZRIA ladies are all about luxe, indulgent wares (check the furs, baby) but the results are understated and the array of cocoon styles reveal a casual, sporty vibe.
