Horror Classic 'Resident Evil' Gets HD Treatment, Looks Just As Scary

Capcom is giving the original Resident Evil game a HD makeover, and to celebrate its posted the first trailer for Resident Evil: Remastered.

The survival horror game is being completely rebuilt from the ground-up so that it can run in glorious HD on Xbox One and PS4.

Developers have done a remarkable job updating all of the textures, scenery and lighting to make sure the game is just as terrifying as it was when people first played it back in 1996.

Resident Evil originally launched on Sony PlayStation but since then it has spread to other consoles while also becoming a blockbuster film franchise starring Milla Jovovich.

Resident Evil: Remastered will be arriving in early 2015.
