When it comes to famous models, Emma Ferrer a familiar name. Yet the 20-year-old art student is fashion's rising star - and not just because she's Audrey Hepburn's granddaughter.
Emma Kathleen Hepburn Ferrer paid tribute to her famous grandmother on the cover of Harper's Bazaar's September subscribers' issue.
Her photoshoot, captured by Michael Avedon - the grandson of portrait photographer Richard Avedon who was inspired by Hepburn throughout the 1950s and 1960s - showed off her striking resemblance to the movie star and unsurprisingly, it got Emma noticed.
"The response to the article was a lot greater and bigger than I could have imagined, partly because I didn't know what to expect from the shoot and how it would be received in the fashion world," she tells the New York Post.
It sounds like the Harper's shoot is only the start of her modelling career. In her interview with the newspaper, Emma also revealed Lanvin's creative director Alber Elbaz has asked her to star in his Spring/Summer 2015 show at Paris Fashion Week.
"I am so nervous, though," she says when talking about her moment in the spotlight.
However, Emma goes on to reveal fashion isn't her main focus.
"I want a career in the arts," she says. "And modeling is an amazing accompaniment to that."
With a name like Hepburn, Emma's future in the arts could be promising.
