Linda Evangelista has been opening up about her beauty secrets - how she looks ever-youthful and, basically, always-amazing. This is the woman, of course, who famously said that supermodels don't wake up "for less than £10,000 a day". So, we sat up and took notice.
The 49-year-old Canadian shared her tips with intothegloss.com, and what did we learn? Well, for starters, a moisturiser with an SPF is a must.
She told the site: "I've always loved beauty products, but I didn't really get into skincare until my thirties. I've worn sunscreen every day since I turned 33. My whole routine changed, actually.
"I do all of those lotions and potions, toner, exfoliation, masks, all of it. I really like Vitamin A and C serums and oil-free moisturisers. None of it takes me too long, and I like the time I spend doing it."
Linda then goes onto say that Dolce & Gabbana products are her saviours, swapping out moisturiser for the Sheer Radiance Primer (£43), before using a foundation from the line dabbed on with her fingers.
The rest is simple, she adds: "Then I do a little mascara, a little shadow in the socket with a brush, a little blush, lip gloss, and go." But if she's going red carpet, she ups the number of products by "a hundred".
Moving onto her locks, she says, there's a lot more effort involved, explaining: "What's not low maintenance is my hair - it's curly and needs to be pressed straight, definitely not wash-and-go."
But she's always up for a style shake-up, adding: "Haircuts aren't forever, you can get out of it if you feel you made a mistake."
