First Look! 'Still Open All Hours' Cast Film In Doncaster

David Jason and his ‘Still Open All Hours’ castmates have been spotted filming wedding scenes in Doncaster ahead of the sitcom’s revival.

Sir David Jason is reprising his role as shopkeeper Granville for the series, following the success of the 2013 Christmas special.

The TV legend has been busy filming for the show’s six-episode run, joining newcomer Tim Healy to film a wedding scene.

The new series will see David’s character in charge of the grocery store, after inheriting it from his great Uncle Artwright.

The cast also includes Johnny Vegas, who made his debut as Wet Eric in the Christmas special, and Lynda Baron who will play nurse Gladys Emmanuel.

The cast have been filming in Doncaster for two weeks

The original show, 'Open All Hours', which starred the late Ronnie Barker as stammering Albert Arkwright, ran from 1972 until 1985 and was a huge ratings hit.

More than nine million viewers tuned in to watch the the one-off Christmas special on Boxing Day, making it one of the biggest TV hits over the festive period.

While David is happy to star in this show's revival, one sitcom which won't be making a return any time soon is 'Only Fools And Horses'.

Earlier this year, the actor ruled out returning as Del Boy, despite the fact he reprised the role for a Sport Relief sketch starring David Beckham.
