When Renee Zellweger revealed a drastic new appearance on the red carpet for Elle's Annual Women in Hollywood Awards last week, she sparked a discussion around the scrutiny put on women in the spotlight.
A week later, Julia Roberts joined the conversation and opened up about the aesthetic pressures women in Hollywood face - the kind of pressures that often lead to them having cosmetic enhancements.
"By Hollywood standards, I guess I've already taken a big risk in not having had a facelift," Julia said in an interview with Youmagazine.
"I've told Lancôme that I want to be an ageing model – so they have to keep me for at least five more years until I'm over 50."
For 47-year-old Roberts, ageing gracefully is about lifestyle. She's learned not to take things seriously and has found peace through yoga.
