Claudia Winkleman is our kind of woman.
The Strictly Come Dancing host has spoken about her love of a good family Christmas - describing it as all about 'the food and the Lego'.
Couldn't have put it better ourselves! In a new interview with Red magazine, Claudia, who is mum to Jake, 11, Matilda, eight, and Arthur, three, her children with husband Kris Thykier, said she can't wait for the festive season with her family.
"I love Christmas more than life itself. My house. A million people round. We eat steak, drink red wine and open presents," she told the magazine.
"People have to sit on the floor because my table seats six. I bake cookies for the tree that all the kids write on. Our tree is singularly disgusting; it's all home-made stuff so it's physically repellent. But a big, real tree.
"I love the Christmas build-up. I like the comedown, too. I love Boxing Day. The food. The Lego. Kris and Jake will literally sit at the table for four days making something and I'll just bring them snacks in my pyjamas."
Claudia also spoke with love and affection about her film producer husband Kris, summing up marriage with the sound of advice of 'be nice to each other':
"We don't have rules, but we look after each other more. So whoever comes home first normally makes the dinner. It's just about being nice to each other."
Claudia has recently returned to Strictly after several weeks away. Her daughter Matilda was badly injured in a Halloween accident, and has been in hospital recovering from burns.
She announced her return to the show with a series of tweets on Friday, November 21, saying:
"Hello Twitter. Firstly, a huge thank you to the incredible NHS doctors and nurses who are being extraordinary.
"We are bowled over by their kindness and brilliance. Matilda is doing well and although it will be a long road to recovery, she is getting the best possible care. Thank you so much for your lovely messages - they meant everything.
"I'm coming back to Strictly this weekend but am out of practice so please bear with me."
