It was a good night for Victoria Beckham at this year's British Fashion Awards.
The 40-year-old fashion designer received the Brand of the Year prize after she opened her first stand-alone store in London's Dover Street in September.
Clearly, the recognition of her services to the fashion industry meant a lot to the former Spice Girl.Mrs Beckham couldn't hold back the tears as she accepted the award at the capital's Coliseum on Monday night.
"I am so so proud to be British and I am incredibly glad that I've built my brand here in the UK," she told guests on stage before she thanked her husband David for his support and admitted she had sometimes been a "right pain in the bottom."
However, Victoria wasn't the only star to pick up an award. Emma Watson was anointed with the Style Award, voted for by the public, and Cara Delevingne was given the Model of the Year crown.
Other big winners included Alexander McQueen, named Red Carpet Designer of the Year, Anya Hindmarch, Accessory Designer of the Year and of course, Anna Wintour.
The American Vogue editor was presented with the Outstanding Achievement Award after over 30 years in the fashion industry.
