Cheryl Fernandez-Versini may be known for her flawless sense of style, but she hasn't always been fashionable. It's easy to forget that once upon a time in the early Noughties, Cheryl Tweedy was a fan of belly tops, low-slung flares, fake tan and - dare we say it? - velour tracksuits. *Shudders*.
After she found fame in 2002 with the now defunct Popstars: The Rivals, Cheryl won a spot in the girl group Girls Aloud and was seen in matching outfits alongside her fellow bandmates for the best part of 10 years.
While the music video which accompanied their debut single 'Sound of the Underground' saw the five-piece dressed in pink pleather, the girls were often seen strutting the red carpet in, er, themed outfits. See December 2004 when they all opted for bright red for the best example.
Fortunately for Cheryl, as time passed and the fake tan faded, she emerged the other side looking more glamorous than ever and sporting an enviable head of hair.
Our favourite Chezza moment? The time she stepped out for the Foxcatcher premiere during the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival in May 2014 in a stunning mullet hem gown.
These days she can be seen in the most dreamy of couture gowns on the red carpet, and in jeans and oversized shades on her down days.
